Board and Train

Don’t have time to achieve those training goals? Do you have a hectic work schedule or family schedule? Does your dog need help with behavior modification? Our Board and Train programs are all tailored to your dogs needs. We do all Board and Train on site which we live on with our two young boys and 4 personal dogs.

We offer two types of Board and Train programs:
    • 3-week minimum for all new clients. We tailor each dogs program. To your dog’s needs and your training goals. Please contact Megan to get up your dog’s personal training plan. All owners are included in these programs we communicate on your dog’s progress and have you participate in your dog’s training at the end of the program. 
    • 5 Week Program more extensive plan along with all basic commands and off site training in the real life situations included. 
    • Cost for Board and Train Programs:

    • At the time of pick up from board and train. Please calculate in a 1 hr private one on one session.  To work with you on what your pup has learned!

Drop In, Puppy Soclization, Obedience & Rally!

Puppy Soclization Drop in Is now enrolling. 1 hour Drop in course. Cost is $15 per puppy. You do not have to be enrolled in a current class to patriciate in this drop in class this is for everyone, new, current or previous dogs/clients.

Your doing must be able to show proof of Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies vaccines. 

Please enroll on our paw partner (Link Below) check the calendar carefully this will be limited. Once you are enrolled in paw partner it will be very easy to reserve your spot each week.

Puppy Kindergarten

This is a six week group class. We meet one hour each week, there are 4 to 6 dogs in each class. Puppy kindergarten is for puppies aging from 11 to 18 weeks. 

For the first half of class we do a socialization playgroup the remainder of the class will be working on obedience and house manners such as potty training, proper grooming and health, crate training, greeting people, and the start of all other obedience like: sit, down, stay, come, loose leash, leave it and more. This class is also combined with the American kennel club STAR puppy program. There will be a certification at the end of the sixth week through the AKC please see their website for the responsible dog owners pledge. Total cost for this program is $200.00 and payment is due in full upon enrollment. 

Beginner 1

This is a six week program meeting one hour each week. This class is for dogs aging 18 weeks and older. Yes an old dog can still learn new tricks.
This class we will cover basic Obedience like sit, down, sit stay, down stay, recalls, loose leash walking, wait for the food, wait at the door, leave it and much more. All dogs will be on the leash during this class. We will also implement corrections in this class we will be teaching the dogs what no means. The cost for this class is $200. Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment. 
 

Beginner 2

For dogs 18 weeks & older that have graduated from a puppy class or Beginner 1 Obedience Group Class with High Plains K-9 Connections or Progressive School for dogs. (Or instructors approval) 

 

For dogs 18 weeks & older that have graduated from a puppy class or Beginner 1 Obedience Group Class with High Plains K-9 Connections or Progressive School for dogs. If you have not taken classes with us before, please get instructors approval to make sure this class is a good fit for you and your dog. One hour session once a week for 6 weeks. Total cost is $200

  • Go to place from a Distance while other dogs walk by

  • We also like to do classes indoors and outdoors with real life distractions (All weather permitting of course) 

Canine Good Citizen

AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program is one of the most rapidly growing programs in the American Kennel Club. There are many exciting applications of this wonderful, entry level that go far beyond the 10-step CGC test.

There are many exciting applications of this wonderful, entry level that go far beyond the 10-step CGC test. There is no age limit for the CGC test. A dog is never too old to be a good citizen. Puppies who have completed all immunizations and boosters may be tested, however, because we know that behavior and temperament can change over time, when puppies pass the CGC test, owners should have them re-tested as adults. This Course is 7 weeks long. The Cost for this class is $220.

Community Canine Good Citizen

AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program.
Dogs who pass the AKC Community Canine test earn the official AKC Community Canine title that is designated by the letters “CGCA” (Advanced CGC) on the dog’s title record. 

Whereas Canine Good Citizen tests are most often tested in a ring and situations are simulated. The AKC Community Canine test is done in real situations including at shows, classes, and in the community.  The cost for this class is $220.

There is no age limit for dogs taking the AKC Community Canine test. However, before taking the test, dogs must have a Canine Good Citizen test on record at AKC.

Urban Canine Urban Citizen

AKC Urban CGC requires that the dog demonstrate CGC skills and beyond in a setting that includes traffic, crowds, noises, smells and other distractions that are present in a city or town. As with Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban CGC is a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Urban CGC title.

This is a title that appears on the dog’s title record at AKC. The cost for this class is $220.

AKC Urban CGC is a public access test that demonstrates dogs are well-behaved and well-trained when in public settings. The Urban CGC test can be used by dog- friendly business (e.g., lodging, retail, transportation, public facilities) to recognize and accept dogs with good manners.

In-Home Training

We can come to you. Train your dog in the environment where the dog needs to learn how to interact positively.

Private in-home training can also be for dogs that are in need of more behavioral training and customized training plan that fits the dog and handlers needs. Please email for more information and to schedule a free consultation at our facility.  In home training Starts at $80 per hour and depending on location there may be mileage.

Megan created this package option to offer more in home trainings options at a discounted rate for families to stay consistent with one on one support. In your home or off site. This package can also transfer to off site (If needed) such at a park, Scheels, the vet or even the walking trails in your neighborhood.

Trick's Trick's Trick's

Trick’s Trick’s Trick’s is a 5-week course. We meet for one hour each week, for 5 weeks. Trick Training is a great way to bond with your dog, help him/her integrate into your family and keep him/her mentally and physically challenged. We will have 6-8 students in each class. As a group we will be focusing on timing, motivation and technique to achieve all levels of tricks from; Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert. The cost for this class is $180.00. Payment is due in full at the time if enrollment.
